Applied Decision Architecture & Modeling

Purpose

The foundation supports research into how autonomous systems make decisions under real constraints. Our focus is on understanding the structure of choice when outcomes are uncertain and resources are limited.

Scope

We are interested in decision-making under pressure: situations involving conflicting goals, legal and moral constraints, limited time, incomplete information, and the need to act despite ambiguity. We also study how systems recover after failure and adapt when operating conditions shift unexpectedly.

Current Work

The Maelstrom whitepaper documents our ongoing research into adversarial decision environments and adaptive response frameworks.
